So we landed yesterday at Kochi airport, and then drove a few hours to Munnar. It's a small town in the mountains surrounded by tea fields. The road there wound through the rainforested hills, complete with waterfalls every mile or so. It's been raining since we landed, so it makes it hard to see the landscape a lot of the time but what we saw was really beautiful. It reminds me of a tropical Switzerland.
We went to a tea museum and got massages. I got to sleep last night for about 10 hours which was amazing, but I'm still not caught up.
We're in Thekkady now. We went to a spice garden and smelled shoots and roots and such, it was pretty interesting. We then went and rode elephants around a coconut grove. No big deal.
