Eliza's super-fun Birthday

Today we were supposed to go to this really fun shopping/beach town for our saturday off, but last minute this morning they told us that they needed us to stay because there's too much to do for tomorrow. So that was kind of a bummer. It's alright though, I think we're going on monday instead.
Before lunch we just cleaned out the hostel (kids' dorms) and we're working on finishing up the library. That library is such a pain. We stamped and glued papers into literally every single book in there.
After that we went back to the hostel to clean out a storage room. We had to sort through a ton of donated clothes that had been in boxes in there for who knows how long. Me and Audrey got to smell it all to see what 'had' to be washed. All of us then organized it and we broke out into a dance party because we got music to play.
It was Eliza's birthday today so for dinner we had french toast which was so excellent. She also brought a huge bag of candy to share, so we got a good little taste of America.

The kids get here tomorrow! I'm really excited but nervous at the same time. I feel like i'll be so overwhelmed. But i'm sure it'll turn out great. Since the kids have been at home in the colonies for a month, one of the first things we have to do is treat them for lice. And Amy says it's rare that a volunteer doesn't get it. Great. But i'm starting to learn that she exaggerates a lot on stuff like that to make us happily surprised. Or at least that's what i'd like to think.
Once again the power is being psycho and the a.c. doesn't work and there have been three blackouts since i've started writing.
